Set under the wonderfully restored GPO Building, Postales Spanish Restaurant and Tapas Bar offers traditional Spanish food in a relaxed and sophisticated setting.
The cuisine focuses on sensational seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes that have been Spanish favourites forever. Tapas dishes range in price from $9 to $19.50. Main courses are between $27.50 to $29.50.
Postales also offers you a Valencian seafood paella and meat paella (Paella de Carne) that have been described as Sydney's best paella. The Postales paella uses proper paella stock and saffron to give them their authentic and distinctive brown colour and flavour (unfortunately many other restaurants use chicken stock which gives paellas an unnatural bright yellow colour). Paellas are now signature dishes for Postales, $56.00 for two.
Postales Tapas menu includes:
Salted Cod Croquettes, Pan Fried Scallops, Anchovies, Deep Fried White Bait, Deep Fried Whole School Prawns, Sizzling Prawns, Lightly Fried Calamari and Warm Octopus.
The traditional Jamon Serrano, Jamon Iberico, Spicy Grilled Chorizo, Hare Meatballs and Grilled Beef Tenderloins.
Roasted Mushrooms with Pedro Ximenez, Fried Potatoes and Vine Ripened Tomato Salad.
To end the meal you can't go past the Churros, traditional Spanish Doughnuts served with Rich Chocolate & Caramel Dipping Sauce.
To accompany your meal why not try our Postales Restaurante Sangria, alternatively there are white and red wines from all over Spain.

Postales has an amazing heritage originally created as Post Seafood Brasserie winning many awards including one hat in 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005. In 2009 it used its love of seafood to give it a uniform style and make it more specific for its location.
